Peter & Jeri Dejana Foundation Awards $320,000 Grant to Viking Sports Foundation for Advanced Video Scoreboard and Scholarships

The Peter & Jeri Dejana Foundation presented a $320,000 grant to the Viking Sports Foundation on April 21, 2026, during a ceremony at Whitney Field at Schreiber High School.

The Viking Sports Foundation is a volunteer-led nonprofit that supports athletic programs for more than 1,600 students in the Port Washington School District.

Port Washington’s Nick Schratwieser Honored with NYSAAA Positive Change Award

The Port Washington School District is proud to announce that Nick Schratwieser, Director of Health, Physical Education, and Athletics, has been named the Section VIII recipient of the NYSAAA Judith Ann Knight Positive Change Award.
